Capitaine Usager and the Users' Committee will protect your rights!

How can we help you?

About

Founded in 2005, the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Users’ Committee ensures that users receive care and services with respect and dignity. The Committee is responsible for informing, protecting and defending the rights of all persons using the services offered by the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital.

The law requires each establishment in the health and social services network to form a user committee. Composed of at least 5 volunteer members elected at the annual general meeting, the Committee therefore becomes the spokesperson for all users of its establishment.

By listening to requests and providing comments, the Committee wishes to actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality of life of users at the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital.

Our mission

Inquire

In addition to having in-depth knowledge of the rights and obligations of users, the Committee has a duty to make them known and to inform users about them.

Promote

Through evaluations, comments received and their observations, the Committee engages with management in order to be constantly improving and to provide a quality of service that meets expectations.

Defend

The mission of the Committee is to defend the rights and collective and individual interests of users. He must receive requests and guide users through the procedures to be followed in order to be heard by the establishment.

Support and assist

The Committee supports and accompanies the user in all the procedures associated with the complaint, ranging from drafting the complaint to meetings with the authorities of the establishment.

Ensure proper operation

The Committee is at the service of the user, not of the establishment for which he works. Composed of volunteers, the Committee provides listening as well as confidential support free from any conflict of interest.

Become a superhero!

The well-being and quality of life of users are important to you? Do you want to help improve the quality of care and act in the interest of all users?

Don’t wait any longer and join the ranks of the Committee’s volunteers.

Many of our volunteers are users, relatives of users, students or retirees, etc. In short, anyone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of hospital users!
